And the security services succeeded in apprehending the perpetrators of the theft of the villa of Mohamed Salah, the football star in one of the residential compounds in New Cairo, and returning the stolen items, as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Interior agencies to reveal the circumstances of what was reported to the security services in the Cairo Security Directorate on March 12th from the player’s business manager that he had discovered some theft. After legalizing the procedures, they were seized, and when they were confronted, they confessed to having committed the incident, and one of them admitted that, due to his previous work as a security officer in the same residential community and his knowledge that the villa was empty of its residents, he planned to commit the incident jointly with the second accused, as they climbed the back wall of the aforementioned villa and committed the incident.
All the stolen items (a number of sports shoes – a silver medal – a piece of crystal – a number of receivers) were seized. By summoning the amount, he identified the seized items and accused them of theft. Legal measures were taken and the Public Prosecution Office took over the investigation.
