Prosecution for five felonies among the 74 arrested in the fight on Alexandra Avenue – 2024-07-15 16:59:30

Serious criminal prosecution for five felonies and numerous misdemeanors once morest the 74 arrested in the bloody shootout between organized fans that took place yesterday Saturday (13/7) outside the Panathinaikos stadium on Alexandras Avenue, the Athens First Instance Prosecutor’s Office proceeded.

It should be noted that today 72 of the 74 arrested were brought before the judicial authorities, as two of them are being treated at the People’s Hospital and are being held as part of auto transport.

The 10th regular investigator who will conduct the investigation is then expected to issue for these two arrested arrest warrants.

In particular, the prosecution brought today by the Prosecutor’s Office once morest the 74 arrested pertains to the crimes of forming and joining criminal organization, attempted murder by complicity and serially, manufacture of explosive devices, moral complicity in the manufacture of explosive devices and possession of explosives.

All the above categories are co-authored and on the occasion of a sporting event. In addition, according to the prosecution, those arrested are also charged with the offenses of illegal possession of flares and firecrackers, illegal carrying of weapons, use of weapons and supply and possession of drugs for personal use

After the prosecution, the defendants were referred to apologize to the 10th regular investigator, from whom they are expected to request and receive deadlines. It is worth noting that 69 of the defendants were brought before the 10th ordinary investigator, as the remaining five are minors and the case file was divided and assigned to a juvenile investigator.
