There might be several reasons why you might not have received your tax bill:
A. If you paid off your mortgage, the City may not have been notified and the City will continue to send your tax returns to the mortgage company. To resolve this, please bring your payment cancellation information to our Customer Service Center located in the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center, Room 136.
B. The City may have the wrong mailing address on file. To change your mailing address, visit the Assessor’s Office located at the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center, Room 804. Please note that you will need to provide proof of ownership (i.e., warranty deed, quitclaim deed, etc.).
If at any time you need a copy of your current tax bill, you can visit our Customer Service Center located in the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center, Room 136. There is no charge to receive a copy of the tax bill as long as you are the owner of the property and your name appears on the bill.
