In August 2022, on behalf of the Secretariat, Comrade Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member, Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat signed and promulgated a Directive of the Secretariat on leadership of the Farmers’ Unions at all levels and the General Assembly. The 8th National Assembly of Vietnam Farmers’ Union, term 2023 – 2028 will take place in 2023.
In order for the Congress to achieve high results, the Secretariat requested Party committees and organizations at all levels to continue raising awareness of the position and role of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union and the peasantry in the new period. The Congress of Farmers’ Associations at all levels towards the 8th National Congress of Delegates, term 2023 – 2028 is an extensive political activity of all levels of the Association and the Vietnamese peasant class, in order to summarize and evaluate the implementation of the resolution of the Congress in the 2018-2023 term; develop directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the coming term.
