Within the framework of the Comprehensive Health Project carried out by EATA, the members of the Preventive Medicine Service of the Pirovano Hospital, Dr. Hector Luppino, Lic. Luciana Cattanio and Marina Nepote, from the Social Work Residency, gave talks during the month of May and August on access to the local public health system, on the right to information and comprehensive sexual education specifically oriented to STIs.
Around 350 students from 3rd to 6th grade participated in the activities, generating an exchange of knowledge, answering concerns and distributing informational brochures and condoms.
From the Preventive Medicine Service, they accompany the approach from the ESI perspective, constituting one of the local resources that the Municipal Health Center has as an extramural device to guarantee access to health in institutions. In this framework, the last meeting of this cycle of talks ended on Friday.
From the Health Center they thank EATA for their commitment to the ESI and especially Geraldine Poulsen Hornum and Jorgelina Guitierrez, professionals from the EoE of EATA for being facilitators of the process.
