Dedicated to promoting the study, teaching and research in the field of Mexican medicine
With the objective of strengthening academic and scientific links, the Faculty of Medicine of the BUAP and the National Academy of Medicine, Puebla Chapter, a scientific corporation dedicated to promoting the study, teaching and research in the field of Mexican medicine, with a high academic level, signed a collaboration agreement.
Among the objectives of this agreement are holding periodic academic sessions to disseminate health-related topics; as well as promoting activities of the National Academy of Medicine among the university community of the Faculty of Medicine.
The protocol event was attended by Luis Guillermo Vázquez de Lara Cisneros, director of the Faculty of Medicine, who pointed out that this agreement opens up the possibility of setting new objectives in the future, which allow strengthening academic and scientific collaboration. for the benefit of both institutions. He also considered that this agreement is of utmost importance due to the impact it can have between the teaching staff and the student community.
Vázquez de Lara Cisneros added: “This significant event is the result of long planning and collaboration. Thanks to the dedication of the Board of Directors of the National Academy of Medicine, currently represented by Dr. Gerardo Germán Fajardo Dolci, this agreement was signed.”
He also recognized the contributions of the Faculty of Medicine teachers, Claudia Mendoza Pinto – who is also coordinator of the Puebla Chapter of the National Academy of Medicine – and Mario García Carrasco.
In addition to the director of the Faculty of Medicine, Luis Guillermo Vázquez de Lara Cisneros, and the teachers mentioned above, the protocol event was attended by Roberto Guillermo Calva Rodríguez, representative of the National Academy of Medicine, Puebla Chapter.
