Promote talk of sustainable tourism and social welfare

Bolívar.- With the support of President Nicolás Maduro, the Governor of Bolívar State, Ángel Marcano, and the Ministry of Culture, the facilities of the Historical Archive of Guayana, located in the Historic Center of Ciudad Bolívar, served as the setting for a talk on sustainable tourism and social welfare.

The doctoral student in Administrative Sciences, Geanette Guipe, speaker of the talk, indicated that it has to do with the trilogy, which means sustainability in tourism. “We have to do with economy, society and culture. The RIPO, which is the International Network of SDG Promoters, is focused in the region on developing the sustainability of tourism and business at an educational and instructional level.”

I express that the social and common welfare will depend on everyone. “Through ecology, recycling, energy saving and the basic services that we must know how to use, with awareness in the development of tourism.”

He assured that Venezuela has a diversity of landscapes, where tourism must be a tool that guarantees the sustainable development of each person’s destination, through the creation of jobs and companies that promote a better quality of life.

Tourism legal instruments

Juan Carlos Bartolí, professor at the National Experimental University of Guayana (UNEG), stated in his presentation that tourism in Venezuela is sustainable, if the appropriate tools are used.

Starting from article 310 of the Constitution of Venezuela, articles 1 and 5, of the Organic Law of Tourism, objective number 3 of the Plan de la Patria, where a legal foundation can be found to reposition tourism in a sustainable way, for use and enjoy the Venezuelans and foreigners who come to the country.
