The Honduran Luis Palma is doing a great preseason with Aris Thessaloniki while his future is up in the air in the transfer market in Europe.
The Hellenic team has received interest from various clubs from the old continent for the services of the 23-year-old attacker, however, no offer has been received to satisfy the economic claims they expect to receive from their scorer last season (13 goals).
According to the Greek portal The Transfer Geek, there are two options this summer for Luis Palma: his sale for five million euros to a foreign club or renew with a salary increase included.
Among the teams interested in ‘El Bicho’ are Rangers from Scotland, and Anderlecht from Belgium, as well as AEK Athens, champion of Greece.
“In a recent conversation that the president of Aris, Thodoros Karypidis, had with the team’s sporting director, Robert Palikoutsa, first made it clear that the sale of Palma is not a priority since no financially satisfying offer has yet arrived.” published the medium in question.
And he added: “He also made it known that Aris’s priority, in the event of selling Palma, would be abroad, leaving several scenarios that considered his transfer to AEK ‘finished’ without foundation.”
“In the event that Luis Palma is not sold at the end of the transfer period, he will sign a new contract with an adjustment in his salary, while it is possible that there will be a termination clause for a future departure to another team”, closes the article.
