The announcement on the renewal of the collaboration with Linos Chrysikopoulos states the following:
KAE Prometheus Patras is pleased to announce the stay of experienced international Greek Power Forward, Linos Chrysikopoulos, who will continue in the new year with our team and strengthen its efforts for the 2024-25 season.
Linos Chrysikopoulos was born in December 1992. He has a height of 2.06 and plays in position “4”. This is a player with great performances from the Greek league. He started his career at Aris, where he stayed for three years (2008-2011), before transferring to the Italian side Biella (2011-2013). He returned to Greece on behalf of PAOK (2013), while the next two years he played for KAO Drama (2013-2015). He followed his move from Kifissia, coached by Ilias Papatheodorou (2015-2016), while then the Greek forward returned once more to PAOK, where he remained for three consecutive seasons (2016-2019), recording excellent numbers, coached once more by Ilias Papatheodorou. The following two years, Chrysikopoulos played in AEK, with which he won a Cup (2020), while he also played in the final of the Basketball Champions League. In the 2021-2022 season he played in Peristeri, while in the 2022-2023 season he played in Kolossos Rhodes, once more under the instructions of Ilias Papatheodorou. In 21 matches with the Rodites, Linos Chrysikopoulos averaged 5.8 points and 3.5 rebounds. Last season, the Greek forward played for Prometheus, averaging 4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game, becoming a useful tool in his coach’s hands. It is worth noting that he is also a member of the national team, with which he even competed in the Canadian Pre-Olympic Tournament in 2021.
We wish Linos Chrysikopoulos a good basketball year, with health and new successes with the Prometheus jersey.
