Prometheus may have struggled in the second half and the game against Kolossos went to overtime, but in the end the home team won 84-79 and now “locked” the 4th place. The “Promethis” reached 34 points in the standings and thus finalized their presence in the 4th place of the regular season of the Basket League, one game day before the final (the parent team plays on March 25 against Panathinaikos in OAKA).
“When we play continuous demanding games in Greece and Europe, it is reasonable to have fluctuations in our performance. Colossus played very well. We showed metal and character and got a very important victory for the economy of the championship”, said Ilias Papatheodorou after the end of the match.
