Prometheus got what it wanted in the game against AEK in Ano Liosia (won with a score of 87-91) and now holds in its hands the 4th place in the regular season of this year’s Basket League.
“Promethis”, who we remind you are superior in the tie with Aris, are invited to beat Kolossos in Patras in the next matchday and if this happens, then they will enter the playoff process with an advantage.
The game against AEK was essentially decided by Hunter Hale’s 2/2 shots in the last 18” and then by Cameron Reynolds’ steal in the Union’s attack in the 13”. The latter wrote 89-85 with 2/2 shots, AEK reduced to 89-87 with Kouseloglou, to form the final 91-87 Hale at 5” from the charity line. Prometheus could, however, have won more easily, as he had taken large margins for most of the match.

Personally I didn’t have a good first half, but in the second half my coach trusted me, so did my teammates and I did better. We have two more games in the regular season. Let’s go game by game for the best result. I feel comfortable in Prometheus. I know my role, my coach gives me space to take shots. We are in the best moment of the season. We have to give it our all. We want to reach as high as possible. We will fight. The sky is our limit.”
