The announced return of the president of the UFDG Cellou Dalein Diallo is one of the subjects which dominate the political news these last days in Guinea.

The national leadership of the party is preparing to give “a warm welcome” to its leader who is due to return home in the coming weeks, in a context where demonstrations are banned in the country.

As a prelude to the arrival of Cellou Dalein Diallo, the leaders of this political formation intend to send letters of information to the authorities of the communes which will be crossed by the procession of their leader.

The coordinator of the UFDG federations in the interior of the country still hopes to obtain a favorable response to this request.

“The junta must authorize the demonstrations to set a good example. Here we have seen more than 100 demonstrations organized by the FNDC once morest the 3rd term without any problem. Why the junta won’t allow the protests. Why this double standard? We have seen here the welcome that was reserved for Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya on his return from Turkey”, underlined Cellou Baldé, head of the UFDG federations inside the country, with our colleagues from Fim FM.
