In the steel sector, the sanctions are aimed at several legal entities associated with the Iranian steel producer KSC, already sanctioned in 2020. Among these are the Emirati Psi DMCC; Kara Industrial Trading and Good Run Limited, registered in Europe; Magellanic Phoenix Marine and Trading Limited, based in Hong Kong; and the Turkish Hsf Dis Ticaret Limited Sirketi. In the automotive sector, the provision affected the Bahman Diesel company, a subsidiary of the Bahman group which the USA has already sanctioned previously; and the Iran Docharkh company, also a subsidiary of the group together with Iran Chassis Manufacturing.
