The Portimao circuit is hosting the last test of the 2023 MotoGP pre-season this weekend. The track will be open for 8:15 a.m. on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 March.
The MotoGP paddock is on its way to the Algarve, a region in southern Portugal and southern Europe. The players in the world motorcycle speed championship meet in Portimao for the third and final test of the 2023 pre-season, following riding in Valencia, Spain (November 8), and Sepang, Malaysia (10-11 -12 February).
The riders have two days – Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 March – to rack up the kilometres, develop the machines and make the final choices before the homologation of the bikes for the entire season. Season which, let us remember, will start on the same circuit of Portimao, for the Portuguese Grand Prix, from March 24 to 26.
The track will open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:15 p.m. local time. Including the time difference with Portugal, that’s from 11 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Paris time. No live video streaming will be offered. Go to GP-Inside for the times and latest information of the event.
