In 2021, 137 billion euros in profit were made by CAC 40 companies in France. It’s a record. Half of this sum should be paid to shareholders in the form of a dividend.
A situation which is explained by the economic recovery that state aid has enabled following a pandemic and catastrophic year 2020. But what redistribution for employees? While purchasing power is a major theme of the presidential campaign, how to change the system? What model abroad should we draw inspiration from?
