As part of its goal to enhance access to quality healthcare throughout the Kingdom, AKDITAL has continued its expansion strategy during the first half of 2024. Three new healthcare facilities were inaugurated, increasing the Group’s total capacity to 2,698 beds. These new facilities include the Khouribga International Clinic, the Ibn Nafis International Hospital in Marrakech, and the Mogador International Clinic in Essaouira, which together add 383 beds to the existing capacity.

To align its practices with the highest quality standards, AKDITAL also made significant progress in the first half of 2024 in its Qmentum International accreditation cycle with the Accreditation Canada organization.

Progress in Activity Indicators

The Group’s revenue for the first half of 2024 amounts to MAD 1,249 million, reflecting robust growth of 51% compared to MAD 828 million for the first half of 2023. This positive performance is attributed to the consolidation of legacy entities and the success of the facilities opened in 2022 and 2023. Regarding its contribution to the Group’s total revenue, the oncology segment saw its share increase from 29% in the first half of 2023 to 32% in 2024. As of June 30, 2024, consolidated net profit reached MAD 127 million, marking a 70% increase compared to MAD 75 million in the first half of 2023.

This progress is fueled by improvements in the Group’s operational performance. The Group’s share of net income (RNPG) amounts to MAD 113 million.

Perspectives

AKDITAL is pursuing its ambitious expansion program for 2024, with plans to open 12 new establishments, 3 of which are already operational. These developments will enable the Group to achieve a total capacity of over 3,700 beds across 33 facilities in 24 cities, a 61% increase compared to 2023. Building on the success of its capital increase in July 2024, AKDITAL aims to accelerate its expansion beyond this year by targeting regions with high demand for healthcare infrastructure to further support the generalization of Compulsory Health Insurance (AMO).
