Dr. Yasser El-Sherbiny, Professor of Immunology at the University of Nottingham in Britain, said that the new mutant that appeared, which is a descendant of the Omicron mutant, is not frightening, because the Omicron mutant is one of the weakest types of mutant for the Corona virus, noting that the existing mutant are resisted by the triple vaccination, which is taken throughout Europe. in general.

And “Al-Sherbiny” added, in a telephone interview to the “Evening DMC” program on the “DMC” satellite channel, today, Monday, that the new mutant of Corona appear clearly on the elderly and those with weak immunity, and those who have not been vaccinated with the three doses, explaining that the new mutant will not be as widespread as before.

And he continued, that the new mutant from Omicron have normal symptoms, as they were in the Omicron mutant and the Corona virus, explaining that the discovery of these mutant is through genetic analysis on those who show symptoms.

And he added, a professor of immunology at the University of Nottingham, Britain, said: “I think that the current wave is the final wave of the Corona virus, because it has been severely confronted by vaccinations, and the conditions so far are reassuring and people are worried when they hear the name of new mutant.”

He pointed out that the new mutant from Omicron are evidence of the beginning of the virus’s weakness and a final tendency for the virus, stressing: “The mutant renew itself to remain on the scene, but the resistance of mutant to severe vaccinations somewhat limits the epidemic.”
