The regular phase of the Professional League Cup is in its twilight and, with two dates left, at least 15 teams of the 28 participants still dream of a ticket to the next stage. Without going too far, in the next few days it will be presented a series of direct duels that will define those classified to the quarterfinals.
The day will begin on Friday with a match that, in addition to facing two direct rivals, has another spice: its classic aroma. This is Vélez-Argentinoswhich will be measured at the Amalfitani from 7 p.m. Gustavo Quinteros’ team, today with 21 points, appears outside the classification zone: it has the same number of units as River, which occupies the last place. Its rival from La Paternal, on the other hand, dominates the table with 24.
Zone A will have another match that will attract several attention. It will be on Saturday at 4 p.m., when Barracas Central – which occupies third place with 22 units – receives Instituto de Córdoba (17), which rests in seventh position.
