The police court in Leuven has sentenced professional footballer Dante Vanzeir to a driving ban and a fine for driving while intoxicated and holding a mobile phone. The former Union player, who now plays for the New York Red Bulls in American MLS, was driving with 0.36 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. Vanzeir was still drunk following winning the Champions League preliminary round the night before.
