The Government of Jalisco, through the Directorate of Professions, invited all the professionals of the State to carry out the Professional Certification on a voluntary basis and recalled that the Professional Certificate is now no longer valid.

The above due to the reform that was recently made to the State Law for the Exercise of Professional Activities of the State of Jalisco (LPAPEJ) which was published on June 3 in the Official Gazette, and which indicates that professional certification is considered voluntary and cancels the validity of the professional license in the State.

”We are inviting professionals to become certified by their own free will and competitive attitude in order to provide a better service. In addition, in the State Council for Professional Activities and the Directorate of Professions, We have a positive expectation regarding this new change, which means that we will be carrying out a campaign in the Universities and in all the companies to invite the professional to be certified voluntarily but in exchange offer them incentives, for example a register where the State will disseminate them so that professionals who are certified are given preference over those who are not,” he said. the Director of Professions Martín Almadez.
