For reasons of consistent consumer protection, Coca-Cola HBC Austria GmbH has initiated a precautionary recall of the 0.5 liter PET lemonade products of the brands Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite and MezzoMix with a best before date between February 4th, 2025 and April 12th, 2025.
The following products are involved: 0.5 liter PET lemonade products from the brands Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite and MezzoMix Inhalt: 500 ml (=0.5l) Product: Coca-Cola (Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Coca-Cola Zero Lemon, Coca-Cola Zero Zucker Zero Koffein, Coca-Cola Light), Fanta (Fanta Orange, Fanta Orange Zero, Fanta Lemon Zero, Fanta Exotic Zero), Sprite (Sprite, Sprite Zero) and MezzoMix.
Best before date: between February 4th, 2025 and April 12th, 2025 and with the coding “WP” below the printed date. This can be found on the back of the bottle above the label.
Small pieces of metal
It cannot be ruled out that there may be small pieces of metal in a very limited number of 0.5l PET bottles due to a technical error in production. We advise against consuming the potentially affected products due to possible health risks.
All other pack sizes and packaging or other brands are not affected by this recall. Consumers can return such a product to Austrian food retail outlets for a refund of the purchase price, even without presenting the receipt.
