Fillets of haddock in trays, sold in the Carrefour and Leclerc brands and distributed throughout France, are the subject of a recall because of a risk of listeriosis.

Salmonella in Kinder Chocolates, E.coli in frozen pizzas, Listeria in black puddings… In recent weeks, alerts and product recalls follow one another. Since April 13, smoked haddock fillets in trays have been recalled.

Sold in self-service in the fishmonger’s section of the Carrefour and Leclerc brands throughout France, they present, according to the Conso Reminder websitea risk of listeriosis due to the detected presence of “Listeria monocytogene”.

The product in question, from the Bourgain et Fils brand, is part of lot 133135. These are “smoked haddock fillets in a 200 g skin vacuum tray”, on sale since April 2 and whose deadline consumption is April 23, 2022 (product GTIN: 3284570002139).

Reminder Conso asks to “no longer consume it, return the product to the point of sale, contact consumer service and destroy the product.” If you have purchased one, you can request a refund.

If you have already eaten it and you have symptoms such as fever, “isolated or accompanied by headaches, and body aches”, consult your doctor directly, telling him that you have consumed this product in question. “Listeriosis is a disease that can be serious and whose incubation period can be up to eight weeks,” says Rappel Conso.
