During the last days a video has been broadcast through Tik Tok in which it is ensured that Belinda would have been one of the finalists to get the main character of the series ‘Hannah Montana’ and he would even have had the luxury of rejecting it.
However, the casting director of the program came out to deny what was said on social networks and reveal the real reason why the Spanish failed to reach the final “filter”.
Through a short video, the casting director Lisa London responded to the assertions made by user Fernanda Cortéswho told how “Beli” supposedly refused to act in the successful Disney series.
“Hello, Fernanda. I am the casting director of Hannah Montana and I discovered Miley (…) I want everyone to know that Belinda, who is charming, was never in the top 3 for the character of Hannah“, He is heard saying in the audiovisual.
To support what was said, London showed the sheet in which the list of actresses who stayed at the end of the casting to obtain the main role would be seen. “These were the final three actresses who auditioned in the test out of about 100 girls,” she said.
It should be noted that Belinda’s name does not appear on that list; in her place are Taylor Momsen (from Gossip Girl), Daniella Monet (from Victorius) and Miley Cyruswho would end up giving life to ‘Hannah Montana’.
