An informed source said today, Tuesday, that the inspection procedures for the Ukrainian grain ship bound for Lebanon, which left the port of Odessa through the Black Sea, will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, in the Turkish port of Istanbul.

“Today, the ship arrives in Istanbul, and the inspection procedures are expected to take place on Wednesday, with the participation of all parties represented at the Coordination Center in Istanbul,” the source told the Russian “Sputnik” agency.

On July 22, Istanbul witnessed the signing of a multilateral agreement on lifting restrictions on the supply of food products and fertilizers from Russia, and assistance in the export of Ukrainian grain from the Black Sea coast. It includes the tripartite agreement, which Signed by representatives of Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United NationsUkraine exported grain, food and fertilizer across the Black Sea, from three ports, including Odessa.
