Problems with supply chains weighed on Rosenbauer in the previous year

Profit before tax for the 2021 financial year almost halved from EUR 51.5 million to EUR 27.5 million. The group announced this yesterday, Friday.

According to preliminary figures, the listed company achieved sales of 975 million euros last year. In 2020 it was 1.044 billion euros. According to the company, the decline can be explained primarily by delayed vehicle handovers. As a result, sales would have been postponed to the first quarter of 2022. In addition to rising prices for materials, the costs for personnel have also increased slightly.

The weaker production output was also reflected in the operating result (EBIT): This fell from 57.9 to 34 million euros. The EBIT margin was 3.5 percent. Incoming orders rose from 1.008 to 1.064 billion euros. The final figures should be available on April 8th.
