Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris criticized, on Monday, the spread of garbage on the road leading to Matrouh Airport, in Marsa Matrouh Governorate, northwest of Egypt, and the presence of “industrial bumps” every 10 meters, warning that this affects the Tourists, provoking an interaction.
Sawiris said, through his official account on the “X” platform, previously, Twitter: “Good morning … the road to Matrouh Airport Street is decorated with open rubbish, which is dumped in separate piles in the middle of the sidewalk.”
The Egyptian businessman added: “This is different from industrial speed bumps every ten meters, and it is the first thing a tourist sees other than unfinished and neglected houses…”.
Activists interacted via “X”, with what Sawiris said, and one of them wrote: “By God, O Basha, pressure from your happiness on the government and liking the place so that it befits the region, and thank you.”
Another tweeter said: “Good morning, I’m talking to His Excellency, Minister Kamel Al-Wazir, right now!!!”.
And a third tweeter wrote: “Good morning, Bash, an engineer. Nice and constructive criticism, but… did you think for a moment regarding sending a cleaning company to clean the area that you saw? What if each of us worked on repairs as much as possible and as much as possible? Accept my words, thank you.”
