The Arab Parliament announced, during its fourth conference, which was held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo, yesterday, Saturday, the selection of the Emirates project to explore Mars (Hope Probe) as the best Arab project to achieve sustainable development for the year 2021, among three major Arab projects that are considered an Arab model for development and investment projects. and developmental.
Hamad Ahmed Al Rahoumi, First Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council, head of the delegation of the UAE Parliamentary Division participating in the conference, received the honorary award given to the UAE by Adel Abdul Rahman Al Asoumi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament.
The Arab Parliament confirmed that the “Hope Probe” project was chosen for honor because its scientific objectives are the first of its kind in the world to explore the planet Mars, as one of the best Arab projects for administrative development, business efficiency, economic performance and government effectiveness, and support for the information and communication technology sector.
The honoring was attended by the delegation of the UAE Parliamentary Division, members of the Arab Parliament Group: Muhammad Ahmed Al Yamahi, Chairman of the Group, Naima Abdullah Al Sharhan, Second Deputy Speaker of the Council, Vice Chairman of the Group, Ahmed Hamad Bushhab and Shatha Saeed Al Naqbi, members of the Federal National Council.
