Priyanka Chopra returned to India last week after a long time. The US-based actress attended the launch event of her new brand ‘Max Factor’ in Mumbai.
In an interview with Forbes India, the actress spoke about the difference between her experience of working in Indian and American cinema.
In the interview, Priyanka was asked how she would compare her experience of working in Bollywood and Hollywood. So he replied, “I think every country is generally different. “Every place has its own cultural ways that we like and the way we work.”
Continuing, he said, “One of the big differences that I see between Hollywood and Bollywood is that there is a lot of documentary work in Hollywood. In a day you will receive 100 emails. The timing is very strict.”
“We have a lot of ‘jagga’ here and get things done,” he added. We are a bit more romantic like ‘hey ho gaye’, ‘we’ll do it’, so the way of doing things is quite different but that’s also part of the characteristics of each country.”
“I think our creativity can be too natural at times,” he said. That’s the biggest difference I’ve seen, otherwise filmmaking all over the world speaks the same language.”
