Prithviraj does it at a time when he is facing a challenge in film and life: Lal Jose
In 2012, the movie Aayal Tom Nimum Kakham was released in the direction of Lal Jose with Prithviraj in the lead role. Ravi Tharakan in the film was a character that stood apart from Prithviraj’s previous roles.
Lal Jose has said that the film was released at a time when Prithi was facing challenges in her life and cinema.
Lal Jose said this in an interview given to YouTube channel Sensations TV as part of the promotion of his latest film Solomon’s Bees.
Lal Jose says that people have even told him that if a film of Prithviraj hits the theaters, people will create trouble and many people have put insulting comments once morest him on social media because of what he said in an interview.
“He and I are doing this at a time when Prithviraj is facing challenges both in his personal life and in films. There was a time when very bad comments were made once morest Prithviraj on social media because he said something in an interview. When he started the film with me, many people said that if his film comes out at this time, there will be trouble in the theatres. But I was sure that Ravi Tharakan would be safe in Prithviraj,’ says Lal Jose.
Lal Jose has also said that Ayaal and Namim Vakku is a film that has been shot in many locations unlike his earlier films.
The medical college parts of the film were shot in three medical colleges. ‘Ayaal Tom Naam Pakhm’ is the most locally shot film of my films,’ Lal Jose added.
Meanwhile, Solomon’s Bees, which is a thriller genre, will release on August 18. Laljos introduces many new faces through this film. The title character is played by Joju George.
Along with newcomers Shambhu Menon, Addis Antony and Darshana, Malayalee’s favorite actor Vincy Aloysius is playing the lead role in the film.
Binu Pappu, Sunil Sugata, Johnny Antony and Manikandan are playing other important roles in the film. Vidyasagar is directing the music and the film has been edited by Ranjan Abraham.
