The Sultan said this after receiving an audience from representatives of judges who were going on mass leave at the Nusantara V Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (8/10).
“Yes, I had a discussion earlier, early this morning I accidentally met the Minister of Finance at an event, she said that from what I heard earlier, she was indeed diplomatic, yes. “Because there was no special meeting, but he said, we are currently looking for a formula,” said Sultan, at the Parliament Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (8/10).
“But he already knows very well that the aspirations are very strong and we will listen,” he added.

The Sultan promised to convey the judge’s aspirations directly to the government in the near future.
It is known that Indonesian Judges Solidarity (SHI) is asking for a salary increase of 142%. He conveyed this during an audience with the Supreme Court, Monday (7/10).
SHI spokesperson Fauzan Arrasyid said the figure had taken into account inflation and the costs of where judges served. According to him, the demand was reasonable because judges had not received a salary increase for 12 years.
“The demands of judges throughout Indonesia are that we ask for an increase of 142 percent of the existing office allowance in 2012,” said Fauzan.
Fauzan said the number of judges in Indonesia currently reaches 7 thousand people. Judges, he said, work for justice seekers, but they have not prospered without years of salary increases. (Ykb/M-4)
