A magnificent duo! After their arrival this Thursday, October 19 in Asturias and the concert they attended, Felipe and Letizia from Spain, as well as their daughters Leonor (17 years old) and Sofia (16 years old) were expected in Oviedo this Friday, October 20 to deliver the Princesses of Asturias Awards as they do every year. Or rather like the young Leonor, who also bears the title of Princess of Asturias, now does: temporarily leaving the Military Academy in which she has been studying since August, the future queen played her role perfectly and celebrated the guests as he must.
And in a flamboyant outfit: her long pink patterned dress, created by the Spanish brand Simorra, was unmissable, as were her low-heeled shoes. Her hair tied in a large braid, unlike her blow-dry the day before, the young girl looked superb. And this must have changed her a lot from the military uniform that she now adopts on a daily basis and that she wore for the National Day ceremonies last week.
But some mightn’t help but notice that the princess’s outfit was especially worn by her mother, Queen Letizia! Indeed, as she had done the day before with her blouse, the sovereign had once more chosen the color pink (one of her favorites) and put on a Hugo Boss pantsuit, under which we might see a white shirt. Perched on her heels, she was still much smaller than her two immense daughters.
A very exceptional guest!
Young Sofia was indeed also at their side. But no pink for her, rather white: following her flamboyant jumpsuit worn for the concert they attended this Thursday, the teenager had chosen a classic suit from Chanel, which revealed her long legs. Enough to please the Spanish press, which praised its “Parisian look”.
A lovely trio who made a dream come true: alongside Felipe VI, they met the winners of the Princesses of Asturias prizes including the marathon runner Eliud Kipchoge… and the actress Meryl Streep, whom they were “looking forward” to see, greeted with emotion. Delighted to spend time with the family, the actress agreed to chat with them, probably to tell them her best memories of filming.
An encounter different from those they usually have… and one that they are unlikely to forget!
