Princess of Wales Kate Middleton said in a video that she is in the early stages of treatment following tests revealed cancer.
For weeks, speculation on the internet had been rife regarding Kate Middleton’s absence from public events. To undoubtedly put an end to the rumors, the Princess of Wales recorded a video released this Friday, in which she reveals that she has early stages of cancer.
She said the announcement was a “huge shock” to her, but sent a positive message, sayingshe is “doing well and getting stronger every day.”
Details regarding the cancer have not been released, but Kensington Palace says it is confident that the princess will make a full recovery.
The Princess of Wales suffered a abdominal surgery in January, but it was not known at the time that she had cancer. “However, tests following the operation revealed the presence of cancer. So my medical team advised me to undergoing preventative chemotherapy treatment and I am now in the early stages of this treatment“, she explains.
