Princess Kate’s brother reveals his son’s special name
Princess Kate can look forward to a new family member: her brother James Middleton has become a father for the first time.

In January, James Middleton announced that his beloved dog Ella had died in his arms following 15 years together. According to a report in the British “The Telegraph”, he met Alizée through Ella.

James Middleton (36) has become a father for the first time. The younger one has that Brother of Princess Kate (41) has now also been confirmed via Instagram according to relevant media reports. Middleton posted several pictures showing him, the child and his dogs.
“He’s only been in our lives for a few weeks, but they were the most extraordinary times of my life when I got to know our beautiful little boy,” enthuses the proud dad in the attached comment. “No matter how prepared I thought I was… I was not prepared for the overwhelming emotions of meeting Inigo for the first time or the love for my beloved Alizée when we became three.” Middleton is with us his wife, Alizée Thevenet, married since 2021.
Kate has become an aunt for the fourth time
Princess Kate became an aunt for the first time in October 2018 when her sister Pippa welcomed her first child, a son named Arthur. Kate’s first niece, Grace, followed in March 2021 – and Pippa most recently welcomed a second daughter named Rose in early summer 2022. The royal sister has all three children with her husband James Matthews.
Without the dog Ella, his son would never have existed
“We have settled into our new life as parents and I told him everything regarding Ella, how he wouldn’t be here today without her and that we miss her very much,” Middleton continues. In January he had to announce that his beloved dog had died in his arms following 15 years together. According to a report in the British “The Telegraph”, he met Alizée through Ella. The dog had simply made her way to his current wife at the South Kensington Club.
The first Instagram photo also shows a picture of Ella, Middleton’s hand and his son’s hand. In a second photo, the baby can be seen with the other dogs in the family, who “welcomed their little brother to the pack fantastically.” He then finally poses for a third photo with the baby carrier and the dogs.
Last but not least, Middleton thanks the “wonderful team” at Basingstoke Hospital. He and his wife mightn’t have felt better cared for from the very first scan to the moment they left the hospital with the baby.
