“I am recovering from surgery and wanted to take this opportunity to personally thank you for your support and messages of love. These two months have been incredibly difficult for our family. But I have a wonderful medical team that takes great care of me. I am so grateful for that,” she said at the start of the video message.

Kate also said she didn’t know she had cancer when she had stomach surgery.
“However, post-operative tests revealed cancer, so my medical team advised me to undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy. I am currently in the early stages of that treatment,” Princess Kensington said in a video released by the palace.
“I took the time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis (her children) in a way that suited them and reassure them that I would be back.” The princess added:
In my mind, body and soul. Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance. Like the love, support and kindness shown by so many of you. It means a lot to both of us. “We hope you understand that we as a family need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment,” she said.
