- Last week, Prince Harry traveled to London to support his father King Charles, who was suffering from cancer.
- It has now become known that the 39-year-old prince is said to have deliberately avoided one person during his short visit: Queen Camilla.
- It has long been known that Harry has great antipathy towards his stepmother. He also made this clear in his autobiography “Spare”.
It is known that Prince Harry and his stepmother Camilla do not have the hay on the same stage.
In his autobiography “Spare”, published a year ago, King Charles’ youngest son wrote that Camilla was “dangerous” and “a villain” because she allegedly cultivated relationships with the media so that she might be portrayed in a better light .
Harry also revealed that he was strictly once morest marrying Camilla. Together with his brother William, he “begged” his father not to marry once more.
“Harry’s problem is that he fights like a coward.”
When Harry found out regarding the king’s cancer diagnosis, he immediately got on a plane last week and flew to London so that he might speak to his father in person.
During this short visit to his homeland, the prince is said to have expressly avoided one person. At least that’s what journalist Petronella Wyatt claims in the British newspaper Zeitung «The Telegraph»:
“I heard that Harry didn’t want to be in the same room as his stepmother Camilla when he spoke to the king regarding his cancer diagnosis.”
In the episode, Wyatt finds clear words for the 39-year-old prince’s behavior: “The problem with Harry is that he fights like a coward and refuses to stand up to a comparable enemy, and on the rare occasions when he meets one, he runs away. In short: Prince Brave he is not.”
And further: “Nevertheless, I don’t understand his ongoing ruckus towards the queen. Maybe following he broke with his brother and sister-in-law, he no longer had any family members to offend.”
Petronella Wyatt: “It was Charles who wanted to get married”
Wyatt writes that she was able to get to know the current queen from a different side. After the death of Lady Diana, Harry’s mother, she occasionally had breakfast with Mark Bolland, Charles’s deputy private secretary, in her role as deputy editor of The Spectator.
“Without wishing to betray any confidences,” Wyatt said in The Telegraph, “I got the impression that it was Charles who wanted to marry Camilla, while she settled for a less formal arrangement.”
“The topic of her becoming queen one day was never broached. There are people who lack ambition and snobbery and Camilla is one of them. That’s why I don’t understand Harry’s bile and can’t relate to it.”
“Harry has a problem with other people being happy.”
Petronella Wyatt suspects that the prince’s resentment towards his stepmother is based on envy: “Envy of the fact that his father’s marriage to Camilla, as he has publicly admitted in the past, is very happy.”
And further: “Harry seems to have a problem with other people being happy and has spent the last year causing misfortune to those closest to him.”
