According to some, Prince Harry would use a private hotel room to “escape” from his family life.
In a statement to Page Six on Sunday, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex disputed an article published the previous day by The Sun, which claimed that the king’s youngest son sometimes wanted to “escape” from his wife Meghan Markle.

Sources had told the tabloid that Prince Harry has a private room in a hotel near the California home where he lives with his wife and their two children, for when he needs to self-isolate. After the article was published, her rep told Page Six that was not true.
The original article also claimed that Harry also used private club San Vicente Bungalows in Los Angeles as a “getaway spot”. The club has banned the use of cameras inside and prohibited people entering from approaching other guests. Club staff would even place stickers on customers’ phone cameras when they arrive.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a son and a daughter, Archie, four, and Lilibet, 23 months. The couple celebrated five years of marriage on Friday.
The rumor was released days following the couple and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, claimed they were involved in a ‘near-fatal car chase’ with ‘a group of very aggressive paparazzi’ in New York, following witnessing at a gala.
