Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Inaugurates Eight Health and Emergency Projects in Riyadh

Today, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, inaugurated eight health and emergency projects to cover 500 km west of the city of Riyadh.

This came during the reception of His Highness in his office at Al-Hakam Palace today, His Excellency the Minister of Health, Professor Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajel.

These projects, which were implemented in partnership with Awqaf Al-Shakreen Malahi Bin Salama Bin Saedan & Brothers for Community Service, include establishing and equipping an emergency center in Al-Rain General Hospital with a bed capacity of 22 beds serving 54,000 patients annually, and establishing and equipping a kidney center in Al-Rain General Hospital with a capacity of 1,680 dialysis annually. And the rehabilitation of the doctors and nurses building in Al-Rain General Hospital, as well as the technical and medical linkage and the unification of patients’ files between five hospitals in (Al-Muzahimiyah, Al-Rain, Al-Quwaiyah, Al-Ruwaidah, and Al-Khaira), in addition to establishing and equipping the Red Crescent Center in each of (Sand, Al-Raqamiyah, and Asila) located on Al-Rain-Bishah Road.

His Highness the Governor of Riyadh witnessed the signing of a community partnership agreement to train and qualify 408 volunteers in first aid.

The agreement aims to strengthen community partnerships in health development in accordance with the Saudi Vision 2030, and to enable them to provide support and the participation of the government sector, according to the actual needs of citizens with quality and efficiency compatible with the services provided by the Ministry of Health.
