Prince Emmanuel celebrates his eighteenth birthday this Wednesday. For the occasion, the Royal Palace sent us three new photos taken by photographer Bas Bogaerts at Laeken Castle. On one of the three, we see him posing with his father, King Philippe. Emmanuel is certainly the most unknown prince of the royal couple’s four children.

The young man doesn’t make waves but, lately, we’ve seen him a little more. In particular, there was this participation, in the company of Princess Elisabeth, in the Warmathon, a 10 km race to support the solidarity campaign once morest poverty of the King Baudouin Foundation. Previously, Prince Emmanuel was educated in Dutch at the Eureka school in Kessel-Lo. He was enrolled there for eight long years. At the time, it was explained that he had been there because he had dyslexia problems. “The Prince speaks French, Dutch and English fluently,” specifies the Palace. Which says a little more regarding his hobbies. “He loves nature and practices the following sports: skiing, tennis, windsurfing and running. He loves playing the saxophone.”
