In a documentary on the controversial prince Andrew, broadcast on the English channel ITV, the former security guard of the prince, Paul Page, made confidences for the less surprising on the son of the queen.
According to him, Andrew threw big tantrums when his stuffed animal collection was not arranged the way he wanted.
A temperament that made life difficult for the maids, on whom he shouted without reserve.
“There were regarding 50 or 60 plush toys placed on the bed and basically there was a card that the inspector showed us in a drawer and it was a picture of these bears placed in the right place,” said the former guard, who was in charge of the prince’s security between 1998 and 2004.
“The reason for having this laminated image nearby was that if his bears weren’t put back in the correct order by the maids, he would scream and scream.”
The newspaper The Sun reproduced the map in question, an object that terrified the servants of the palace.
In 2019, author Elizabeth Day previously referred to the plush collection, saying, “It seemed kind of strange that a grown man would be so amused by plush toys.”
The prince was in his late thirties when Paul Page was his security guard.
