Will Prince Andrew soon be packing his bags? For several months, King Charles III has been trying to oust his brother from his residence at the Royal Lodge. Having become persona non grata of the British royal family, following his involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein affair, the Duke of York lives as a recluse in this mansion located within the Windsor estate. However, Sarah Ferguson’s ex-husband could be forced to find a new home within a few months. According to information from Dailymail, revealed this Sunday, August 18, the husband of Camilla Parker Bowles decided to dismiss the ten men who made up the security team of the Duke of York to put pressure on the latter. “Everyone is speculating that this means the Duke will have to leave the Royal Lodge, because what other reason could there be to remove his security?” a palace insider asked the British tabloid.

And to continue: “King Charles’ refusal to foot the bill for Prince Andrew’s security is part of an ongoing battle between the brothers over the tenancy of the Royal Lodge. The king wants Andrew to leave his home at Windsor, which is part of the Crown Estate, but the prince refuses to move.” This real estate and fraternal battle is far from over…

Prince Andrew urged to move to Frogmore Cottage
Following the Jeffrey Epstein scandal and Virginia Giuffre’s sexual assault complaint in 2019, Prince Andrew was stripped of his royal titles, ostracizing him from the British royal family. Since then, the fact that he still lives in this vast residence, owned by the Crown, has made his older brother grind his teeth. Charles III has therefore offered him to move to Frogmore Cottage, a more modest residence, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lived before their departure for the United States. Smaller, but also closer to the castle, this residence would prove much less expensive to protect. A suggestion that the father of Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice has categorically refused. Once a symbol of prestige, the majestic residence has today become the scene of a very sad family struggle…
