Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Saudi Minister of Energy, evaluated relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States, expressing his concern about the feeling of some “jealousy” of their level between the two countries.
And the Saudi Energy Minister said, in a press conference after a meeting of the OPEC Plus alliance in Vienna on Sunday, that the Kingdom’s relations with the United States have been going on for 80 years, and they will remain in place.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman was responding to a question when he answered: “Secretary Blinken and every American official as well as any American citizen are all welcome in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It will continue in this way, and we look forward to further cooperation.”
Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman added, “We look forward to more cooperation (with the United States), but we feel some concern that some people will feel jealous,” as he put it.
