THE final trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season two has been released. The trailer shows Middle-earth torn apart by the machinations of Sauron, and the deceit and manipulation that lead to the creation of more rings of power.
Unexpected alliances are formed amid the flames and true friendships are tested. Dangers once hidden are now revealed. Momentous decisions must now be made by the kingdoms of Eregion, Khazad-dûm, Lindon, Númenor, and the lands in between, for the safety and peace of these kingdoms depend on them.
This season features the long-awaited Siege of Eregion, a defining battle in the history of JRR Tolkien’s Second Age of Middle-earth, in which not everyone survived.

The first three episodes of the second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will premiere on August 29, 2024, with new episodes airing weekly until the thrilling season finale on October 3, 2024.
The second season of The Rings of Power sees the return of Sauron. Banished by Galadriel, with no army or allies, the resurrected Dark Lord must rely on his own wits to rebuild his power and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power—which will allow him to bind all of Middle-earth to his evil will.
Building on the epic scale and ambition of the first season, the new season will plunge the series’ most beloved and vulnerable characters into darkness, challenging each to find their place in a world on the brink of disaster.
