Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Rasool’s grave, special prayers for national security

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif visited the Prophet’s Mosque upon his arrival in Saudi Arabia and offered a special prayer for the development and prosperity of the country.

Shahbaz Sharif is in Saudi Arabia on a 3-day visit yesterday on April 6, this is his first foreign visit following assuming the office of Prime Minister.

After arriving in Saudi along with his delegation, he along with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif spent last day in Madinah, performed Isha prayer and Nawafl in Masjid Nabwi (peace be upon him).

During this time, he offered special prayers for the development and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah and the country.

According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, following performing the Umrah, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is expected to meet with the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, in which issues of mutual interest will be discussed. Will also discuss progress.

The statement further stated that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have a long-standing brotherly relationship, rooted in religious and cultural affinity, and the people of Pakistan have great respect and esteem for the Custodian of the Holy Haram, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
