Dr. Mostafa Madbouly announced that President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, had directed to amend the age requirement in competitions for the positions of assistant teacher at the Ministry of Education and Technical Education to reach 40 years instead of 35 years, and to amend the condition for obtaining a good grade as a minimum for entering the competition to obtain an estimate. Acceptable, in the context of giving the largest number of young people the opportunity to participate in the competition.
The Prime Minister directed that the results of the competitions be announced on the government jobs portal (https://jobs.caoa.gov.eg) and handed over to the relevant ministries to implement their affairs, so that today the results of the imams competition will be announced, and tomorrow the result of the class assistant teacher competition and the complementary competition for an assistant teacher. Kindergarten, stressing his full support for the central competitions mechanism of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, which provides the possibility of testing more than 1,500 applicants electronically per day, while ensuring that the most qualified applicants are selected for public jobs, and providing principles of transparency, integrity and justice in the selection process that gives equal opportunities between applicants, without the slightest human intervention, asking candidates for job positions to abide by the Code of Conduct, promote public services and treat citizens well.
With regard to the class teacher competition, Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh explained that the agency opened the door for submission to the competition from the 2nd to the 24th of last July, on the government jobs portal website, and 89,394 applicants applied for the competition to fill 14,813 jobs, the conditions applied to 60,695 applicants, of whom attended work 55,624 applicants took the online test, and 14,530 of them passed it in 27 governorates.
With regard to the complementary competition for the kindergarten competition, the head of the agency stated that the door for submission was opened in the competition for filling 3197 assistant teacher positions (kindergarten) from October 14 to November 10, in 14 governorates, including 6 governorates, in which the number of applicants did not reach Number of jobs required, and 8 governorates , The Red Sea, and Port Said, indicating that 5,765 applicants applied for the competition, 4,863 applicants met the conditions, 4,497 of them attended the electronic test work, and 1,656 of them passed it.
Regarding the competition for imams, preachers, and teachers at the Ministry of Awqaf, the head of the agency indicated that the imams competition was announced 15 days before the application for the competition opened, so that those wishing to apply might prepare the required documents, and the application door was opened “online” on the job portal website. government, during the period from February 15 to March 2, 2022, and the number of submission hours reached 384 hours, while the usual submission by hand in similar competitions previously extended for two weeks, with 10 working days and 60 submission hours, and the number of applicants for the position of imam, preacher and teacher reached 15,988 applicants, and 13,096 applicants applied for nomination to take the electronic test, of whom 9,618 attended the test, and 548 of them passed, following passing electronic and oral tests.
Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh also presented the result of a job competition for (240) “quality” engineer jobs for engineering jobs for “mechanics, electricity, civil, communications and computer” at the third job level “C” in the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation and its affiliated bodies, where the head of the agency explained that the door for submission has been opened In the central announcement from February 20 to March 7, the number of applicants reached 6,280, and 5,695 applicants met the conditions required in the advertisement, while 4,406 applicants attended the electronic test at the Agency’s Capacity Assessment and Competitions Center, from 23 to On March 29, 293 applicants passed it, and 240 of them were engineers.
