The Prime Minister and his wife welcomed the Kirel family and congratulated the singer on her Eurovision performance
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara met singer Noa Kirel at his office on Thursday and congratulated her on her third place finish in the Eurovision Song Contest held last Saturday in Liverpool.
“I’m going to tell you something – you sure don’t want to see me dance!” laughed the Prime Minister in reference to a passage from the song “Unicorn”.

“They saw that you were at the peak of your physical condition, but also at the peak of your desire. I saw it in your eyes at the end too – it was all inside,” said Sara Netanyahu. “The desire to do, to work, to conquer and to honor comes from within. It’s a lot of motivation. I really like what I do, I like to make people happy. It gives more motivation to work hard,” replied the “Million Dollar” singer.
The interview brought together Noa’s parents Amir and Ilana Kirel, her brother Niv, her manager Robert Ben Shoshan and media and digital director Roni Peretz.
The hit “Unicorn” debuted at No. 91 on the Spotify global chart with 1.42 million streams. This is the highest ranking entry following the Eurovision Song Contest.
