Prime Minister Imran Khan created history by inaugurating the Kartarpur Corridor on November 9 this month on the occasion of the 550th birth anniversary of the religious leader of the Sikh community, Baba Guru Nanak.

Sikh actress Poonam Kaur praised Pakistan’s step in opening the Kartarpur Corridor during a meeting with Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Firdous Ashiq Awan in Islamabad.

Poonam Kaur said that the opening of the corridor would promote religious harmony and the Sikh community would benefit the most from this step.

Honam Kaur further said that she is going to India with good memories from Pakistan and also thanked Firdous Ashiq Awan.

During the meeting, Firdous Ashiq Awan also presented gifts to Poonam Kaur and said that Pakistan has always promoted religious harmony and Kartarpur Corridor will increase religious harmony.

It should be noted that Poonam Kaur also belongs to the Sikh community and she has also shown the essence of acting in Hindi films including Tamil, Telugu and Punjabi.
