On August 9, Prime Minister Donald Tusk accepted an invitation to chair the Honorary Committee of the 26th World Scout Jamboree. The invitation was issued by the Head of the Polish Scouting Association, scoutmaster Martyna Kowacka.

The 26th World Scout Jamboree will take place in Gdańsk from July 30 to August 8, 2027, and for the first time in history it will be organized in Central Europe. Under the slogan “Bravely”, the Jamboree will gather tens of thousands of scouts from all over the world, who will take part in activities promoting international friendship, cultural exchange and personal development. The host of the event is the Polish Scouting Association. Prime Minister Donald Tusk has accepted an invitation to chair the Honorary Committee of the 26th World Scout Jamboree. The invitation was issued by the Chief of the Polish Scouting Association, scouts sergeant Martyna Kowacka.
World Scout Jamboree – an international scouting event for young people
The World Scout Jamboree is a major international event organized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). It takes place every four years and brings together tens of thousands of 14- to 17-year-old Scouts from around the world and adult volunteers to promote cultural exchange, friendship and adventure. The Jamboree provides a unique opportunity for young people to learn from each other, develop leadership skills and engage in outdoor activities while applying the Scout principles.

The Jamboree program is filled with a variety of educational, recreational and social activities, including workshops, team-building exercises and outdoor activities.
