Priests assaulted in Cancun; this is known

Armed men broke into a house located on Saturday night in superblock 3 of Cancunwhere They assaulted priests and they were robbed of various valuables.

The first reports indicate that the criminals surprised the priests inside the house, whom they threatened with firearms and they took high-end watches, 30,000 pesos and a cell phone.

It was found that the situation was initially tense, but no explosions or physical attacks were reported during the assault. However, the priests suffered nervous breakdowns after being confronted by armed individuals.

Following the robbery, local authorities, including members of the Municipal Police and the State Attorney General’s Office, went to the scene to begin the corresponding investigations.
