Nizhyn athletes continue to win awards at All-Ukrainian and International competitions. This time, athlete Kateryna Horbach and karate athlete Artur Sorokin are returning to Nizhyn with a good result.

“From September 20 to 22 in Ivano-Frankivsk, the team championship of Ukraine in athletics between the State University of Athletics Federations and the National Academy of Athletics Federations was held. Kateryna Horbach, a pupil of the Academy of Athletics Federations of Ukraine, took third place at the distance of 800 meters and completed the 1st division — a great victory!Advertisement:

Also, on September 21-22, the international karate tournament “XXII Black Sea Cup 2024″ (UKF Premier League) took place in Odesa. Our student Artur Sorokin, under the leadership of Serhii Sakhuta, won gold among more than 500 participants from 30 clubs,” the message reads.

As MYNIZHYN reported, from September 20 to 22, 2024, the Ukrainian ICO (Thaiboxing) Championship will be held in Brovary (Kyiv region), at which Nizhyn will be represented by the “Fithg Club 20-21” team. Our students presented the city well and won over many people.
