Following the example of AvtoVAZ, UAZ also began to produce simplified versions of its cars: updated price lists for Patriot, Pickup and Profi appeared on the official website of the plant. Unlike Grants in the updated configuration Classicwhich a month ago fell in price immediately by 86 thousand rubles due to the lack of a driver’s airbag, ABS, ERA-GLONASS system, front seat belt pretensioners and an immobilizer, the prices for simplified UAZs did not decrease so significantly.
Ulyanovsk residents also have a different approach to simplification: for example, when choosing a Grant in a fixed Classic configuration, you can’t refuse the driver’s airbag, while leaving the ABS, while for UAZs a more flexible scheme is provided with “cancelling options”, each of which individually reduces the price in the price list. From now on, Patriot and Pickup with “mechanics” in the initial configuration of the Classic can be ordered without ABS and brake force distribution system – this will save five thousand rubles. The position “lack of a driver’s airbag”, as well as the optional choice of a simplified Icarus steering wheel (they are listed separately in the price list) reduce the price by another ten thousand rubles each, but if you refuse the ERA-GLONASS unit, no bonuses are provided.
It turns out that the initial prices for the Patriot and Pickup in the Classic configuration with “cancelling options” can be reduced by another 25 thousand rubles – up to 1 million 520 thousand and 1 million 545 thousand rubles respectively. For cars in the Comfort version, the rejection of ABS and EBD is not offered, but you can order simplified versions without frontal airbags – without them, the Patriot and Pickup in this configuration will be 20 thousand rubles cheaper: from 1 million 680 thousand rubles (instead of 1 million 700 thousand ) and 1 million 770 thousand rubles (instead of 1 million 790 thousand), respectively. The more expensive versions of Lux and Lux Premium do not provide for the absence of ABS or airbags, and cars with an “automatic” cannot be ordered without them. However, both for those and for others, a refusal from the ERA-GLONASS block is available – but once more, without a corresponding discount.
As for the commercial model Profi, when ordering basic rear-wheel drive models, you can refuse the driver’s airbag (the savings will be ten thousand rubles), and for modifications with all-wheel drive, in addition, versions without ABS and brake force distribution systems are offered – then the Profi will still be on the same five thousand rubles cheaper. The presence or absence of the ERA-GLONASS unit, as well as on other Ulyanovsk models, does not affect the price. Prices for a simplified rear-wheel drive UAZ Profi without a driver’s airbag start from 1 million 590 thousand rubles.
